Becky, The triangles are pretty small, I cut them from a 2 1/2" strip. I did these OBW blocks as a "demo" for my daughter who is just starting a larger quilt with some gorgeous fabric. Once I had them, I had to figure out what to do with them, so I appliqued them onto a piece of heavier fabric to use for the bag.
