I soaked them in hot water and baking soda and some peroxide. Then I put them in the rinse cycle of my washing machine. They are "tanning" on top of our not-so-clean cars right now. Hopefully this will get the stink out so they can be quilted. I'll have to wash them when they're quilted too do I'm not that concerned with "dirt" as I am with whatever was on it before!!! Yuk
