Searching for an old Applesauce Cake recipe....
I'm searching for an old Applesauce Cake recipe from the mid 40's. It was in the BH&G Cookbook which was the first cookbook I had as a new bride. Over the years that cookbook had lots of wear and tear and finally fell, yes, actually fell apart and I tossed it thinking I could buy a new BH&G Cookbook and have it again. Didn't happen as that same recipe is not in the new books. It was one of my husbands favorite cakes through the years and now I'd like to have a copy of the recipe to hand down to our family.
