Memory Quilt...this one's for me!
When my mom passed away a few years ago, I decided to make memory quilts for my siblings as a way of honoring my family and of healing from it as well. I was amazed at how good I felt as I was working on the different quilts. I only just finished "my" top a couple of days ago. It still has to be quilted, which I will send to a professional to do, but it took me longer to finish my own quilt. I prefer the "scrappy" element in making them and add lots of additional blocks for interest and color. I hope you enjoy.
