Default Need Suggestions RE:Enlarging Quilt from crib to queen

I am almost finished with the piecing for the center of the quilt I am making for my team fundraiser for our local relay for life. I am using Blank Co.'s Cassablanca pattern designed by Janet Houts. I am using different fabrics. Main focal is the Fabric Freedom Deco Dragonflies in the blue colorway. Secondary is an Iris deco look. No photos at this point. I am using a pink batik in place of the gold shown on the free pattern sheet. I have figured out the math! Miracle as I have a tendency to be lazy with my thinking cap at times.

The original finished size is 55 X 74,I am enlarging to 80 X 100. By adding one more row and one more block to the right hand side of each row I am enlarging the center enough to have manageable borders that won't over power the center which is really the eye catcher! I am using the original 4 inch outer border as the first border using the Iris fabric as it is used sparingly in the narrow rectangular blocks. I then will have a 1 inch solid border, not certain if a pink repeat or using a deep blue or purple, and then will need a 6 inch border. Suggestions are needed as to whether this should be all one fabric i.e. the dragonflies or perhaps in the Piet Monet style colorblocked with rectangular blocks of each of the fabrics in the quilt. Will the chopped effect detract from this center pattern? Need outside eye as I like the idea of the Monet effect but am hesitant to screw up at the price of fabric these days!
