Have not completely decided... but I think I am going to use fleece or flannel as batting. This will give enough loft to allow the seams to rest and allow the entire piece to feel more flat on the table surface. I have a couple of other quilts with low loft batting that I am now using for the table and seems to work pretty well. Would love to figure out something for the backing that wouldn't be so slippery so the tablecloth doesn't slide around so easily. Any suggestions from you brilliant folks here?
