Cool Mystery Cathedral

Last year at a quilt meeting, I received a "mystery" box which turned out to be full of the beginnings of a Cathedral Window quilt. Newspaper clippings in the box dated it from the 70s. It was intended to be hand sewn. However, I am a firm believer in letting machines do the work whenever possible, so I finished it on the machine. I think it turned out okay. It's heavy, and a little stiff. The backing fabric from the box was a coarse muslin, and it wasn't cut square, which made it a challenge at times. Still, I persisted and finished the darn thing. Here is the result.
