No that won't work either.

Well, we have Singer 66s, 99s, a 319K, a 338K, a 401A, a number of Japanese made square shape machines, a beautiful HOTHER and SEWMOR 404, both clones. And a Bernina 930. Then of course we have the obligatory real antiques and shuttle machines.

All of them sew very nicely. Most of them make real nice stitches, but none of them have the finely made sound that that 201 does. The closest is the Bernina. No rattles, no clinks, it's hard to describe but being a gear driven machine with no belts it just has no slop, no play.

Words are failing me. I'm trying to describe this machine but can't right now.
