Recently, on a very hectic weekday when I had a number of activities going on, I drove through a local place for a box of chicken for supper. When the young lady told me the total, I double checked the price list and then told her she hadn't charged me enough. Smiling quite cutely, she proudly said "Oh, that's the price with your senior discount." Though I tried not to show it, inside I was shocked! Do I look that old?! I'm only 57, and
all my life people have told me that I look so much younger than my real age. Have they been lying to me?
But........once the initial shock was over, I thought this isn't such a bad deal after all, so why not take advantage of it. As Caroline S. has told us, there are lots of discounts out there, and it only takes a minute to find out if they apply to you. So I say take those discounts where you can. It saves you money so you can buy more fabric!!!
