My machine only does about 4 1/2 inches. I had to turn this to do the side borders. Of course this quilt was only about 45 incshes square so it wasn't a big problem to turn.

Looks good! I can't figure how to run down the side with feathers ,my machine is a mid arm, only does about seven inches at once. Maybe I have to finish down the whole quilt and take off frame and put it back on sideways-seems like too much trouble-does anyone have the secret?
