With the event of ONLINE sales, it just brought the terms to the front light...it was OK if you made a few items to sell at the Church Bazaar, or scout fund raiser, but now people are selling in mass online and that changes things greatly!
It's true that some have releases for fund raisers, but I agree now that people are doing cottage industries and selling them en masse online, rather than their own designs. I have even seen them on pantographs - where there are limits on how many times you can use a given pattern.
