I also learned how to make one in the hoop w/zipper this past year. The place where I bought my machine has classes and its free if you buy your machine from them. Mine coin purse was different but same concept. Hooping can be a problem. Check out the tutorials on emblibrary.com along with their projects to get tips on doing it. One little trick that I learned on my own was when the stablizer barely fits I use the painters blue tape and run it along the side of the stablizer and it helps hold it to the hoop. You should check your area to see if there are any classes offered. Most places don't care what machine you have for you to participate; they don't here.
