i once did a baby quilt for a sister-in-law who was expecting her first child. I had backed it with a soft yellow brushed nylon. I was about 3/4ths done with the quilting when realized I had the backing wrong side out. I finished it and just let it go--nobody knew except my son and i had to tell him what was wrong after he looked at it for over a half hour.
