Who cares what you look like when you are sewing! I have to admit, I love to run around in really comfortable pajamas on rainy days and sew all day! But, I do have to have my makeup on and house cleaned up - not for 'him' just because I can't stand a messy house nor looking completely 'undone!' That ad had to be written by a male chauvinistic person, though! Pretty funny - thank you for posting! Can you see something like that being published today? It would really get most women's panties in a wad!
