I've been MIA quite awhile from the forum but I've been busy with quilting stuff none the less. As busy as a homeschooling mom of three can be anyways.
This weekend was my second quilt show to participate in with my first show quilt (not my first quilt but the first quilt I made for the purpose of showing). Last fall this quilt received an Honorable Mention at the first show it was shown in. This weekend I won first place in my category. Very excited! My husband compared my reaction to that of Sandra Bullock in Miss Congeniality when she's watching the video of past contestants being announced the winner. Fanning her face, fake crying and wimpering, "Thank you, thank you so much". For the record that was NOT my reaction.
