I had three new spools of thread I could not get the plastic wrapper off the spools. It was shrink wrapped so tightly I ruined one spool trying to get wrapper off!
I sent the spools to the headquarters of the thread company and asked them if they ever used their own products. I never thought I'd receive an answer but felt better about sending it anyway. About two months later I got a big box in the mail. It was a 60 pieces spool set of thread from the company! All shrink wrapped just as the ones I sent back. LOL DH figured out to twist the wrapper very hard to break it and then peel it off. I never could twist it that hard.
