The Hobbs site doesn't list any Polydown Plus, so you can't tell what the difference is. What is the book and why does it recommend this particular brand? Maybe that will tell you the difference.
If you put "Polydown Plus" in quotation marks when you use your search engine, it will give you a lot of sources of the Polydown Plus, especially on the bolt.
