Welcome from Canada. I googled Log Cabin Star & a link came up with a Log Cabin Star pattern that was in the March/April 2003 edition of Quiltmaker magazine. I am sure you would be able to get back issues so maybe you could try that if this the pattern you are looking for. A picture of the quilt is included on the site. Good luck with your search.
