Just the reason I put a hand crank on my 99 so I can take it camping when we start going this year!! I can't wait to be sitting up in the redwoods sewing away hearing only the nice little tick tick of the machine and all the birds and the wind in the trees!!
I have a 99K that's a work in progress. It will be a hand cranker when finished. Someday. I'm not sure I'd take it camping though. I've got other things I like to do when I'm out and away from civilization.
