I used to save all my magazines with paper clips at the ones I would like to make. Well, needless to say, they got out of control. My solution was to go through them all again from cover to cover. I tore out all the ones I still wanted to make and donated the remaining magazines to our quilt guild. I put the torn out pages in clear plastic sheet protectors and put them in 3 ring binders. I've got binders for "quilting motifs", "quilt ideas" and "quilt patterns". I certainly do have a lot more space in my bookcase now.
This is what I do as well. Although after 16 years of quilting, I have way to many binders. Although, I do weed out the contents every year or so.
