Today I asked my quilt store guy about it and, as usual, he tried to sell me a new machine. "One of my new machines will do as much as ten of your old ones." Yeah, break down. I know his do because I see the machines come in when I buy fabric. It doesn't bother him because the company replaces the parts. I told him the operative word in sewing machine is sew and I expect a machine to do just that. Then he tried to sell me a aqua Universal 15 clone. Pretty little machine, but it'd been in a bad basement and the mold smell of the case was terrible. Besides, I'm not in the market. If I machine follows me home, it didn't cost $75.
