Default Baby Cowboys

I found these kerchiefs at Walmart for 50 cents each on clearance. I used for kerchiefs on the front and one on the backing. I got this idea that it would make a cute baby quilt. So when my son told me one of his friends had just had a baby boy and would I mind making him a quilt, I jumped at the chance! This is a simple 10 minute block (I have gotten a little faster at them since this is my second one but it still took longer than 10 minutes). The baby cowboys were colored with crayons “cathedral windowed” (this is the same technique I used on the flowers of my ‘Pinklet’ quilt) onto the center block. Someone asked me whether the crayon blocks washed well and I just did a test with a couple of them and will post the results a bit later when they come out of the dryer.

By the way, I got the tutorial for coloring the blocks from http://www.quiltingboard.com/tutoria...s-t133695.html and she did a fabulous job of explaining how to do them.
