Believe it or not, I bought a little sewing machine called the Lil Stitch from Walmart on a whim to see if it would work to take camping. We what do you know, the little thing works. Weighs absolutely nothing and is little and cute. But it works great! You can either plug it in or it runs on two AA battries. What a find for $20. I figure I can sew scraps together to make string quilts.
