Mythreesuns, before you tighten the tension on the bobbin thread, try loosening your top thread tension. It worked for me on my Janome 11000SE. I also try to match the bobbin and top thread color when I can. Please don't toss out the jacket. Try the marker trick. You'd be surprised at what other people don't notice:-)
