These cookies are wonderful! Thanks for the link! I make my cookies very similar to this, but not as elegant. Once you do them, it is not difficult at all. You don't need a piping bag for the frosting. A metal spatula or knife works fine. It helps to outline the cookie first before spreading the thin icing on, but you don't need to. You can outline with a knife or a spoon too. Use a spoon or toothpick to add colored frosting to the wet bottom layer, and the colors will 'spread' into the frosting. Add a dollop of frosting anywhere on the cookie and use the toothpick and walk it through the dollop into the other colors. Fun for kids when making Easter egg cookies.
