My DH got some blood on a new sweat shirt of course it dried before he mentioned it to me. I was a bit leary of using peroxide because I didn't want the color to fade. So after some searching I found that dampening the area and rub with plain old Ivory soap on the blood and rinse and surprise the blood came right out. Also used it on my carpet when DS had a nose bleed and it worked great.
