Another punch recipe (from my much younger days):
Fruit sherbet (if you can find raspberry, it makes a lovely pink punch)
Chilled Ginger Ale
Spoon the sherbet into punch bowl, smooshing it as much as possible. Pour ginger ale over the sherbet and stir. The amount of each just depends upon how sweet you want it to be (more sherbet will make it sweeter).
