My sister has always sewn as long as I can remember. She'd make stuff out of sub-quality fabric. After I got into quilting and introduced her to the 'good stuff', she's gun-ho about quilting. She's made some gorgeous quilts. BTW, my BIL isn't too happy with me.
Now, she's my mentor because she understands the basics of sewing and that helps me a lot. Some day soon we're going to make a quilt together. Since she works, I hope to beat her but I doubt it. I'm slow as molasses.
