Unless you don't get bored easliy, stay away from Holland, they cater to an older generation and really, while it is nice, there is NOT a lot to do onboard. I like Princess and Royal Caribbean, both equally cater to the same type of crowd. Lots of onboard activities and shore tour possiblities on both. Alaska is always good for a first time cruiser, they say, because in the inside passage there are no rough waters.
