If you will look at the bottom pic I posted above closely you'll see my Franklin's cabinet top is almost identical to your. There is the small hinges at the rear and the hole at the front.
And there should be either two small drip pans or one larger one under the machine screwed to the under side of the top wood.
In your top pic you can see the off center hole at the front of the machine hole. Now look at my pic. The off center screw goes in that hole to hole the machine securely to the top as it folds down. That way the little hinges don't take all the stress.
