I am sure you are Not alone. I was a much better housekeeper when I worked 40 hours a week, but since I retired 6 years ago other things are more important than housekeeping. Oh my house isn't "dirty" it is just lived in and things aren't always where they should be...because other things are in the way. God forbid the day we would have to move I would need a bulldozer to move things.
