I would blame it on quilting, except I was this way before I started quilting!
We seem to fill every surface with stuff at our house. We have 3 cats and a long haired white Husky and a gumball tree so he drags gumballs in on his tail all the time. I watch Sell this House on Saturday morning sometimes and the one thing that they always do is remove all the personal items and a lot of furniture. If that is possible for you, it might make it easier to keep clean. I always have a few dust bunnies I think they like it here.
