I just purchased a Singer 402A last week already in a cabinet, but I also have a Singer treadle that I'd really like to move the 402A into. Problem is I don't have the hardware , ie. screws and little round hinges. The 402A fits into the opening on the treadle but there is a metal piece that the treadle belt goes through on the right side of the opening. Can this piece be removed to allow my Singer to fit into this opening and lowered down into the cabinet. Do I need the additional hardware to lower the machine into the cabinet?

Just wondering where I can find the hardware to fit both my treadle as well as the 402A machine.

Any suggestions?.....
