My sister (who lives in Indiana) takes in animals. She had a 3 legged raccoon that she kept for over a year. She would stack logs up so he would learn to climb in case he got lost and needed to get to shelter! lol She also raises sugar-gliders and has a 3 legged and blind in one eye pommerian and a ferrat that was abused.
