Miriam you can try a thumb screw that holds the seam width attachment to the bed of the machine. Don't forget the pointed washer to indicate the stitch length number. I made mine out of flashing(roof) cut the tabs that bend down in the slot on efach side. I used an old scissor to cut it to shape. I continue the finish tech until it looks good to me.
