Mickie612, since there are 3 girls in our family, and we often even wore hose to school, I think we supplied our share. But Grandma had a lot of thrifty depression era friends who were happy to accommodate her and were glad to find a use for the nylons, so that they didn't have to throw them away!
Times have certainly changed!
