Extra Y-seam tip ... I stab the pins thru in several places along the seam, to get it all lined up good. Then do the traditional in/out pinning, and pull out the stabbed ones. If I have problems holding it all still and lined up, I also stab thru the seams that I'm not sewing, and that has helped a lot (just figured that one out last night while doing CR!)
OMG QNSue ... yes, glass is not forgiving when trying to cram things in! Poor you for the extra costs. So the question that begs to be asked ... what are you building?
Which leads me to ask Everyone ... does anyone have one of those wooden barn quilts on their property?
I don't! ... If I was on the farm, there'd be one for sure. Here, there just really isn't a "right" place for it. Unless I had a small one in the flowerbeds?
