DH does this too. As the kids got older they put their used dishes in the dishwasher or washed them, never left them in the sink for someone else to clean. They never leave a mess they make for someone to take care of. To me that is just plain disrespectful and not allowed. Taking care of the little chores make easy work of doing the bigger ones. I use a cleaning service once a year for the big jobs no one wants to do.
This was the way I was raised and I raised my kids this way, but the man will not comply. Oh well!
