A person after my own heart. I enjoyed looking at your collection. I love vintage singers too. As I looked at your collection, I didn't see a black 201. I'm looking for one and then I'll stop collecting. I don't have as many machines as you have, but I also don't have the room. I love old black singers but for quilting, I use my series 400s the most. (I love the way I can move the needle to the right and get a perfect 1/4 seam.)

At this point my collection of Singers include, two 301s (both black and both are shortbeds); two featherweights (one white, one black) one treadle (model 15) one 66; one 99; one Spartan; two 401s (my favorites); one 403; one 128 handcrank; one 27 electric. I bought the Spartan with the idea of making it into a handcrank.
