I use only pre-wound bobbins. For those of you who do not care for them or have trouble with them- did you know that the cardboard sides have to be removed before using? Also did you know that the pre-wound bobbins have a tiny bit of glue on the end thread to hold them in place for shipping, so you have to remove and discard at least 20 inches of thread. At 14 cents each, I think they are a great value!
