And btw, Joann's will have ALL of their thread on 50% off I believe starting April 15-18th. I usually buy sulky thread (never had a problem with it) and at 1/2 price its a deal.
Yes, that's the thread. It works for baskets and the ornaments. When I do things like my daughters nativity scene I used the rayon for the reason you said. I also used it for my change purse and for other things that I want to have that shine
