I saw a round, rotating cutting board from Martelli at a quilt show and paid the hefty asking price. It's got a cutting mat and underneath that a round ironing board piece that you can remove and use on the side. It's sturdy and top quality. I use it constantly and consider it, along with rotary cutters and my rulers to be my primary quilting tools. Go to the Martelli site and take a look. The price will choke you, so look for it at one of the quilt shows where they are vending.
