I don't have the fusion but the avante and it is a breeze to go from pro-stitcher to free motion. I do it all the time. Good luck finding a used fusion as they are so new I doubt many are out there for sale. Also, I don't know if you can get the QuiltCAD for it but they could tell you at HQ or a dealer. Good luck.
