I know exactly what you are saying. I have a sewing room but have to get the urge to go sew. I don't get that as often as I used to. When I sewed on my dining table the project was out there in plain sight and I would want to be working on it. Then again it would also be out there for people to move and re-arrange, throw things on top of and basically set out to annoy me.
