i use the detergent i wash everything with- and use a normal cycle-generally warm wash, cold rinse-
unless there is some reason to be more gentle- or use something more *fragile*
i figure what ever i make better hold up to normal wear & tear- and laundering- so i do not give special treatment- unless i have a hand-dye that wants to bleed- then i use retayne- then synthropol & color catchers-
yardage gets washed & dried normal- even my wool quilt was tossed into the washer, regular cycle, regular detergent - i did add fabric softener- then the dryer- came out beautifully!
