This quilt I made for a granddaughter who already had her bedding. She chose a focus fabric with owls and one with[ATTACH=CONFIG]327206[/ATTACH] stripes in these colors plus a blue/grey that I didn't care for. I chose the nearly plain fabrics for this quilt and made the large applique from a maagazine I found in my stash. I am pretty happy with the results. I like to make quilts for babies which are large enough to last for several years. I see no purpose in making quilts which they will outgrow in a few weeks or months. I try to chose designs which aren't too babyish as well
