I think sometimes the poster wants a second opinion on the quality of the machine and if it's a fair asking price. We have some very knowledgeable antique machine experts on QB and they can give good advice. There is always the posibility that someone could scoop their machine but it still beats wasting money on a poor decision.
I see no reason why they couldn't describe the machine and what they're thinking of paying for it to get that sort of input without stating where they might be getting it or including a link.
