I just finished cutting out a quilt for my husband for Christmas, thanks to Justwannaquilt providing me with the website that yielded the kit.
I have a question. The kit included backing, but I am seriously considering using flannel for the backing. I have also heard that Minky, although expensive is nice too. This quilt will be for hubby (and me too) to cuddle up under while watching movies this winter and I thought the flannel would be extra snuggly.
Any advice?
Also, what type batting? So far the only thing I have used is Warm and Natural.
