I do understand your "What the ...?" response at the locked chair,

BUT -

I also relate to wanting to keep one's chair "as is" - I've spend HOURS trying to get a chair to be more or less comfortable!! Or having to try to find another one.

I've also worked as a temp - and a regular.

I've assumed as a "temp" that it works out better to defer to a "regular" employee.
