I live in Central Florida and I use Hobbs 80/20 cotton/polyester, or Hobbs 80/20 wool/polyester, or warm and natural , or any cotton/poly blend. Since most people in Florida have Central air, (and cotton breathes) cotton batting is fine.
What part of Central FL do you live? We lived in Orlando and surrounding cities for 50 years. My DD and her family live in Leesburg.
